Artist Statement: My work is what I metaphorically call «geometries of a collapsed mind», and these refer to certain invisible and hidden architectures of the mind, the body, and the world—imprinted as memory, spanning from the fractures of trauma to the integration of healing. I work in series which pieces are on different scales, from tiny to large, whether through geometric or organic shapes, and through diverse media such as drawing, tattoo, embroidery, fiber, photography, photo-manipulation, sculpture, installation, performance and soundscape, involving several materials in a minimalistic aesthetic. Originally trained as architect, I started my work based on the uncertainties about how to inhabit, while healing personal trauma. So I create pieces that engage with narratives about questions and reflections on inhabiting mind, body and world.
