- My paintings are created in oil, pigment and cold wax. Each work is a journey, built in layers- full of contradictions, mistakes, clean slates, experiments, memories, scars, truths, pain, stories, and ideas. The experience of creating during Covid was for me-- a gift, a trial, a necessity and unrelentingly solitary. Participating in Open Studios this year is an affirmation and celebration of this amazing artistic community.
