Continuing my exploration of a limited selection of materials: stitching on packing tissue with coral thread. No art supplies were sacrificed in the making of these drawings. I'm channeling late Eva Hesse whose exploration of dirtbag minimalism poignantly emphasized the fleeting impact of the non-object part of art. Art stands apart from physical utility. It reveals the hidden and so reorders our sense of knowledge and beauty. Wait: that’s certainly useful!
