Over the years I have worked in pastels, acrylics, oil, and ink as well as watercolor, which is my current emphasis, and mixed media.
My focus is on depictions of humans and their natural environment, especially plant life, occasionally including built form. Are we cultivating nature, or is nature controlling us in the end? One has only to look to recent and historical climatic events, as well as the more subtle clues offered by vegetation and growing cycles, to gain insight into this mystifying question.
