- Did you know that Park Slope, Carroll Gardens and surrounding communities were redlined and that Blacks, Latinos and other white ethnics were denied access to homeownership while at the same time urban renewal and other public policies displaced local residents of color? This incredible exhibit by Designing the We, researched and informed by local residents, hopes to inform the conversation about race, place, and the public policies needed to promote justice and inclusion. Exhibit/Film Hours: Sat. Oct. 16th - 4 to 6 pm and Sun. Oct. 17th - 2 to 4 pm.
