- Artmaking, play, and relationship create space for curiosity, experimentation, and discovery. In the Gestalt art therapy studio, client and therapist work as co-explorers, noticing what emerges through the creative process and what comes alive in the moment. A painter for over 25 years, Jess brings an artist’s understanding of materials and images, alongside a clinical lens for exploring how making affects us psychologically and emotionally. Jess Benston (she/they) is a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT), board-certified art therapist (ATR-BC), clinical supervisor (ATCS), and Certified Gestalt Therapist with 18 years of clinical experience.
