- I explore the language of painting led by a sensibility which combines a deeply experiential appreciation of nature, most specifically in the areas of light, color, and atmosphere, with a fascination with composition, ambiguous spatial relationships, and underlying formal structures. In this medium of stillness I hope to suggest a reflection of both the restless energy that surges constantly within and around us, and the calming presence of color, space, and light.
