- Artist Statement
- Ke Martins is a Brooklyn-based block print artist exploring memory, dreams, identity, and transformation. Their expressionist prints draw from folklore, celestial imagery, devotional objects, and the strange familiarity of dreams. Through themes of longing and liminality, Martins creates work for people who have lived between identities, homes, bodies, or versions of themselves. Their practice seeks to make difficult emotions visible, creating moments of recognition and connection through images that feel like memories or dreams.
