Artist Statement: Knockout Pilates is an artist-run Pilates studio in Gowanus, Brooklyn. We think of our studio as a laboratory—a place to experiment, notice, play, build strength, and discover new possibilities for movement. We help people better understand the bodies they live in and train for adaptability, rather than perfection. We believe movement is a lifelong creative practice—something we can continue to explore, question, and evolve. For Gowanus Open Studios, we’re opening our doors and inviting our neighbors into the process.
