Artist Statement
These photo paintings are an exploration of the delicate interplay between light, chemistry, and form. Crafted from 4x5 and 8x10 negatives, each piece is a testament to the tension between destruction and creation. By deliberately damaging the negative, I introduce vibrant color sections that stand in stark contrast to the surrounding blurred lines.
