- Mary Schwab’s interest lies in the multiple levels of representation between temporal and permanent events and objects both manufactured and natural. Her work has been shown in both solo and group exhibitions in New York. Mary Schwab's art-making is expansive in both approach and materials and employs sculpture, painting, photography, and sound. She explores the gaps between cultural and physical landscapes with the belief that objects are not passive.
