Artist Statement: My work is inspired by abstract forms in nature and science, and especially the vessel—for its history, symbolism, and anthropomorphic resemblance to the human body. Through layering and intersecting shapes, I explore transformation, connection, and the complexities of relationships. In the uneasiness of our political and environmental systems, I seek optimism through visual language, as a way to reflect resilience, adaptation, and the enduring need for positive connection.
