Artist Statement
Robert Bloom fingerpaints abstracts with childlike freedom. His work explores communication beyond words or expression, which grabs the viewers' subconscious. Robert explains his Creative Process: “Ideas float endlessly around us all the time and all we have to do is catch them. The artist's job is to play with these ideas, interpret them, and give them form.” Painting joins writing, composing music, and puppeteering as mediums within which his ideas manifest. Being pure and self-contained, Robert's paintings invite curiosity and encourage imagination – his core values as a human being.
