Artist Statement: My work is made of collage paper and mixed media usually on paper. Painting and drawing link and elaborate on the collage ground. I tear and fabricated elements and use techniques of printmaking and frottage. The process of making a work can take, months, sometimes I go back for years. The work evolves into multi layered surfaces with earth and sky and touches on otherworldly and the beyond experience of being a human on this planet now. The work will ask you to look at length, you will find things much in the way I do. I am looking for transcendence and what makes sense.
