- The borough of Brooklyn is the place where I have lived for the greater part of my life. This show is a love letter to my home, a place that continues to reveal surprising history, as well as visual delights, a balance between the old and the new. The paintings in this series are done in watercolor, a favorite medium of mine that depicts a moment in time so well. As a plein-air painter, watercolor works beautifully to capture a specific light, time of day and season.
