Artist Statement
A New York artist who has been working with clay and mixed media for nearly five decades, I began exploring new ways of creating art while working from home during the covid-19 pandemic. I invite you to come see new works, and also previously shown art works: Ceramic jewelry; pots of gold; magical vessels; and tests for large scale sculpted panels- art installed as architectural details. Inspired by ancient artifacts and mythologies, my viewer-participatory works are often multi-modal/ multidisciplinary. Interactive/conceptual sculptures, vessels, and gallery installations are my favorite response to wishes, dreams, and worries.
