Studio 3E in elevator building. Our windows will be open; we feature cross-ventilation and fans, but masks are still required, thanks!
Statement:
Near the end of 2017 I decided to take a closer look at some small translucent glass bottles I collected over the years. In working from them, I was intrigued that they seemed to take on evocative personalities, and to my surprise, this motif has proven sustainable . . . I'm a Brooklyn-born working artist who has held an art studio in various spaces within 543 Union since the '90's; MFA from Parsons, studied with Resika, Georges, Bell, etc. . . . If you are interested in actual visual art, which is concerned with form, plasticity and composition, and also hopefully has something to say, I invite you to stop by my studio during the two days of the tour . . . Besides these still lifes, I also have available paintings, in oil or acrylic, of bathers, cityscapes, bridges, oceans and sailboats, as well as works done in response to 9/11; lithographs and paintings of jazz ensembles . . .
