Artist Statement
My practice explores thresholds between the visible and invisible, the temporal and eternal. Rooted in intuition, wonder, and contemplation, I work within liminal spaces where consciousness, memory, and unseen dimensions converge. Recurring motifs—the circle, door, boat, shore, garden, and water—operate as archetypal vessels of passage, tracing connections between the intimate and the cosmic. Working across mixed media, monotype, and paper cutouts, I approach materiality as a means of accessing states beyond language. Sound extends this inquiry through animated works, transforming still images into fluid, temporal experiences. Ultimately, my work proposes a contemplative space where personal memory opens toward universal resonance.

CaptionMy video installation at MuSA, Museum of Sculpture and Architecture in Pietrasanta (Italy). "Bergamini’s installation embarks on a profound journey of self-discovery, seeking to unravel the intricate connections between the inner and outer worlds, transcending the boundaries of geography, culture, and belief. Through moving images and original sounds, the installation offers a meditative experience inspired by the artist’s intimate understanding of the inner voice and the cosmic symphony resonating throughout the universe". Inspired by the times in which the Great Mother was the Great Cosmic Soul ( here represented by the ever seeing universal eye of the Divine Feminine), Remember is a contemplation on the origins of being, that Cosmic Womb that connects us across borders and cultures and ethnicities and religions.
