Artist Statement: I am a painter . My work comes directly from my subconscious and is intensely personal. The basis of my imagery comes from my early childhood years growing cup in Ireland. I became committed to self expression when it was most scarce at an all boys school in Dublin. I want to fee the human spirit in my paintings. , to feel there is someone there mixing the paint , building the image. I work on ideas that excite me regardless of thinking of a body of work. My palette choices and my technique are the only factors that remain constant. I do not question the process only the result
