Artist Statement: My work explores the shifting boundaries between inner and outer worlds—between body and landscape, memory and perception, control and chance. I work with ink, Yupo paper, transparent film, collage, ceramics, and found materials, allowing liquids to pool, bloom, stain, and migrate across surfaces. Forms emerge that suggest cells, maps, weather systems, strange organisms, and imagined landscapes. Recently, my work has expanded off the wall through transparent and suspended pieces that interact with light and architecture. Improvisation and close looking guide my process, creating work that invites viewers to slow down, wander visually, and discover their own associations.
