Artist Statement
I have been pursuing ceramics for over half of my life on and off, as well as various other mediums, primarily making sculptural work. I have a particular interest in what might be called fantastical sculpture and imaginary portraiture. I am often inspired by geological and natural forms as well as the appearance of antiquity and ancient pottery.
