Artist Statement
My work is influenced by motifs and archetypes found in fairy tales and mythology, which I use to explore themes of sexuality, mortality, and transformation. I apply layers through mark making or assembling individual papers or illustrations to create worlds, environments, and atmospheres that give a sense of movement and fragility.
