- Artist Statement
- My work reflects the way humanity holds the delusion that we are separate from natural world. I use mixed media, collage and "found" objects to serve as metaphors for the fragmented, pieced-together nature of identity, history, and experience. My subject matter reflects dualities: the feminine and the masculine, the physical and metaphysical, inner and outer, symbolic and literal. The viewer is invited to linger in the tension between clarity and abstraction, and to form their own narratives.
