- Artist Statement
- My artistic practice transforms repurposed expanded polystyrene, found objects, and upcycled materials into mixed-media sculptures that explore beauty, decay, fantasy, and horror. Evolving from whimsical, character-inspired footwear, my work now creates surreal figures that balance the unsettling with the imaginative. Influenced by storytellers including Shirley Jackson, William Peter Blatty, Tim Burton, Ryan Murphy, and John Logan, I am drawn to psychological tension, gothic atmosphere, and the uncanny. Each sculpture reimagines discarded materials as expressive characters with distinct personalities, inviting viewers into immersive worlds where horror, fantasy, and imagination coexist, revealing unexpected beauty within the strange and forgotten
