Zanib Ahmad

Artist Statement: Zanib (pronounced Zan-ub) Is a multidisciplinary artist and designer whose research-driven practice uses color, prose, and textiles to explore history, architecture, and diasporic narratives through material, pattern, and form. Her work considers art-making as a form of healing and reclamation, exploring body positivity and women’s agency through the politics of visibility and the right to take up space. By examining tensions between community and isolation, tradition and feminism, and the built and natural environments, her practice centers self-expression, inclusivity, and social transformation.
