- Artist Statement
- Zev is an interdisciplinary artist and educator who's excited to share their first set of ceramic work at Gowanus Open Studios! Zev's art grapples with belonging, cyborg identity, capitalism, and grief, and exalts community. They work across visual art, performance, and music, often in the service of mutual aid fundraisers, and using found/reused/gifted materials. They are the artist behind drag bot Kelli 4nication, a founding member of draglesque collective 8 Oily Dykes, and creator of the Full Moon Art Festival.
