Alex Peacher

Artist Statement: Alex is a self-taught artist residing in Brooklyn, New York. Originally from New Mexico, she moved to New York City to pursue a creative career after graduating from New Mexico State University. Always influenced by nature and its ability to spark wonder, her use of wax as a medium challenges the states of matter by freezing a liquid moment in time. Her background in dance and curious perception of the world heavily influence her works movement and composition.
