Artist Statement: I'd like to think of my work as a conduit, something that brings me into a connection with others through color, texture, pattern, and line in drawing, painting, or cloth. I am a storyteller through these vehicles and my Persian heritage and love of world cultures, nature, fashion, travel...weaves its way in. I think that when someone responds to a certain work of art, the resonance is deeper than what we can say is tangible. This is an offering of my vision and experience of the world, both internal and external. A form of gratitude for life itself.
