Artist Statement: More than two dozen artists were asked to reimagine simple acrylic cases, for Gowanus Night Heron's themed show titled "Case Study," and the results will be on view at the annual Gowanus Open Studios event this Saturday and Sunday, October 16 and 17, from noon to 6pm. See them at Treasure Island (183 Lorraine St.), Shapeshifter Lab (18 Whitwell Pl.), Makeville Studio (125 8th St.) and at Arts Gowanus Offices (540 President St.). A portion of Case Study sales will go to Arts Gowanus and Gowanus Mutual Aid.
