Artist Statement: I work in different media: painting, collage, and sculpture. These works have been created in dialogue with each other. Over time, all the media have increasingly merged- portraits on canvas have morphed into sculptural heads, which, with the addition of paint on their surfaces, have become 3-D paintings, which are subsequently remade into collaged images. The political paintings are in response to our times.
