Lloyd G. Campbell

Artist Statement: I have been an avid photographer for much of my adult life. My father was a professional photographer who gave me an appreciation of photography – from taking pictures to processing them in a dark room. That said, I view myself as an amateur photographer who seeks to capture opportunistic moments that conjure up a creative context. Some of my photos have been described as "painterly,” which makes me happy since that acknowledges composition. A lot of my photographs are from travel as well as from nature and statues.
