Artist Statement
I started Love Life… & Liquorice in 2020, using recycled wood I began making art pieces that have grown. I realised whilst making them it made me really think about my past & the possibility of my future. I’ve never liked Liquorice as a child. My mum loved it & in England it was black & white. It’s my safe word for blocking bad energy, people, situations, decisions & removing the single black Shungite cube from the art or moving it around to change the feeling.
