Nancy Krinsky works in her Brooklyn studio creating natural form glass vessels, which are inspired by her frequent trips to the Brooklyn waterfront, where the random beauty and order she witnesses influences the imagery in her work. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, she studied painting and sculpture there. She holds a BFA in painting from Pratt Institute. She also attended the Arts Student league. While living in Hawaii, she discovered kilnformed glass. So fascinated was she with the kilnforming process, that she set up her own glass studio. She continues to pursue her career as a glass artist, and has shown her work nationally, including at UrbanGlass in Brooklyn, and as a finalist in Bullseye Emerge 2018- Rising Talents in Kiln-glass in Portland, Oregon.
