Artist Statement: NinaPilár is a unisex clothing brand, known for pushing gender boundaries and assuring that no individual is confined to any limits by enforcing androgyny through design. The brand implements the mantra, Unlock Your Truth, which represents being aware of your thoughts, emotions, and for always standing up for what you believe in. The symbol, 000, is incorporated into the logo to symbolize this mantra. It refers to a combination lock in that, every new lock must be set to three zeros, in order to unlock their truth. NinaPilár wants the world to be confident in their truth and set their locks to 000.
