Artist Statement
Presently, my focus has been in creating relief mono prints, which are one-of-a-kind pieces using carved rubber and foam plates. My images are inspired by abstract forms in science, nature and particularly the vessel for its history, symbolism and resemblance to the human body. The magic happens by combining and merging line and shapes. In these areas of convergence, intersection, and overlap, colors become other colors, forms create other forms, alluding to birth, renewal, transformation, a place for more to emerge.
